Boy With a Knife catered our wedding at the UBC Boathouse in May 2019. We were absolutely blown away by every aspect of our experience with them and they were a huge part of making our day completely perfect.
To start with, Chef Brandon created a menu from scratch, incorporating local ingredients and a west coast theme, because we wanted to showcase our home for friends and family from afar. We loved the menu and the incredible details in every dish, from our tasting and menu concept all the way to our guests being served, every little detail was thought of. The team was so helpful with organizing food and drinks from every angle, and they were just so responsive, accommodating emails, phone calls and text messages at times that worked for us. On the day of the wedding, they were friendly, professional, and so smooth. A month later guests are still talking about how delicious, fresh and HOT their food was that day. People have been asking left and right for our caterer’s details. Food was a huge concern for us- we really wanted great food and great music to centre our celebration around and I think BWAK delivered 100%. I can’t say enough good things about BWAK and will absolutely use them for any and all future events. You would be crazy not to hire these guys!
