My new husband and I got married at the Dr. Sun Yet Sen Chinese Gardens in China Town in 2014. Brandon and Sean went beyond the call of duty to execute our special day. They started planning the menu months in advance, including venue visit, menu tastings, event rentals and they 100% collaborated with us to make the perfect menu. They helped out in all areas and provided beautiful finishing touches that brought the day together perfectly. Not only was the food incredibly delicious, but the staff at Boy with a Knife were so much fun and professional. Thank you, Brandon and Sean, for doing such a wonderful job. The event went off without a hitch!

It is safe to say that Ryan and his team at Boy with a Knife completely exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. We were blown away by the quality and creativity of the food! All of our guests are still raving over a month later about how they have never had such fantastic food at a wedding, and beyond that, that it was one of the best dinners they’ve ever had. This is especially important to me as a vegetarian with carnivorous guests. I wanted to show them that vegetarian food can be beautiful and filling, and that’s exactly what BWAK did. Every course came out perfectly timed, hot, and beautifully presented. Our guests also mentioned how pleased they were about how plentiful and delicious the food was during cocktail hour. The staff was so attentive that we didn’t have a single guest looking around for food, as there was always someone nearby serving their incredible canapés. BWAK played a huge part in making our wedding day a beautiful success. We will most definitely hire them for events in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event.

Boy with A Knife, was much more than just a ‘caterer’ for little Leo’s first party. Their team was lovely, professional, warm. They were full of sincere smiles, and were attentive and ‘on it’ without being stuffy. I had requested a vegetarian / vegan meal, and they went over and above to create a beautiful, DELICIOUS spread. I couldn’t stop photographing the bar, the appies, the vegan taco buffet… it was SO beautiful! I chuckled every time one of our guests asked me “ok so THIS is vegan too??!” I proudly nodded.. yes, yes it is. Thank you thank you BWAK for bringing such love to Leo’s party. Now I just need to get engaged so you can do our wedding (wink wink) xo
