From the planning stage to the reception itself, Boy With A Knife went above and beyond for us. Given that our reception was in Vancouver and our organization is in Ottawa, they took it upon themselves to do a site visit for us to ensure that the space of the reception would fit our needs and that they had the adequate equipment on-hand during the event. The staff was very friendly, professional and well organized during the set-up of the event, which is key to hosting a seamless event. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, and the food was delicious. I have worked with many different catering companies in the past and BWAK surpassed all expectations. Working with Joey & BWAK leading up to our event was easy and enjoyable. Within a brief phone call I was able to convey what we were looking for and BWAK quickly created custom options for us, and were flexible adapting to our needs for our event. Though our event was quite small, I still felt like we were receiving the same level of service as a large scale event. The day of execution was seamless and led to a stress free event for ourselves, our parents hosting the event and all of our guests. BWAK staff were professional and friendly and took care of our guests. We received compliments from guests throughout the event and afterwards on all aspects of the catering – delicious drinks at the bar, amazing options for toppings & sauce at the vegan hot bar and the ketchup popcorn was a huge hit! Boy With A Knife Catering has exceeded our expectations in terms of the quality of the food, the presentation and the level of service. We have partnered with them now for a wide variety of events, from smaller business meetings held in-office, to our multi-day Product Launch hosting over 240 international delegates at multiple venues.
